Following the success of the first of these retreaats in April 2018, we are offering the workshop again.

Given the demands and complexities of modern day living our most intimate and important relationships are often left isolated and unsupported, attempting somehow to survive the challenges expected of them, with little or no resourcing, nourishment or a context in which to have a voice of their own in terms of what they are offering the individuals within it.

Loneliness, despair, and a variety of mental health problems are increasingly common in our world today and the tendency is often to struggle in isolation rather than being supported to find ways to be truly intimate with those we love the most.

This workshop will offer couples an opportunity to explore in depth what it really means to give and receive love, and to begin to learn to listen to the unique potential for healing, transformation, and growth that their relationship holds for them as individuals, and as a couple within it. We will explore ways of nourishing the relationship and attend to the blocks that may emerge.

We would hope that the week proves to be fulfilling and relaxing while learning ways to keep the flame alive when you return home.

The Kilim Hotel has a Tripadvisor certificate of excellence and is a warm and welcoming place to be. We will take over the whole hotel for the week to ensure privacy and to create a safe retreat space.

During the week there will be the opportunity of a boat trip down the reed fringed river delta to the beautiful, long, sandy turtle beach , with time to wander, explore, see the turtles, swim, relax and have a picnic lunch under the shade of the pine trees.

There will also be a magical evening boat trip to the stunningly beautiful lake with a barbeque dinner under the stars on the boat and a visit to the lakeside thermal waters and mud baths.

If you take the evening Easyjet flight back, the final Saturday is market day and there will be time to visit the colourful weekly market in the centre of Dalyan, a 10 minute walk along the river from the hotel,

Dalyan is located on a beautiful river in an environmentally protected area so has no high rise buildings. The 6 kilometre beach, which is a short bus ride or boat trip away, is one of the last 'wild spaces' on the Mediterranean, as it is a breeding site for Caretta turtles. There is a turtle rehabilitation centre on the beach where sick and injured turtles are nurtured back to health and research is carried out into the lifestyle and habits of this ancient creature.

The price of the workshop is £850 per person. This is inclusive of participation in the workshop, plus 7 nights accommodation in an en suite double room, breakfast, light lunch, and seven evening meals including BBQ on the boat. (Vegetarians will be catered for) and tea and coffee.

You will need to book Saturday to Saturday flights The nearest airport (40 mins away) is Dalaman. Easyjet is flight out and the evening flight back.

We will arrange a transfer from the airport for those arriving on the Saturday evening Easyjet flight from Gatwick arriving around 9 pm in Dalaman and there will be drinks and a light meal provided for all at the Kilim hotel to welcome you all on arrival that evening.

Our first gathering for workshops will be on Sunday morning after breakfast. The workshop finishes on Friday evening at which point we will celebrate in style and you will have the last Saturday before flying home to spend time soaking up the atmosphere of the weekly market and doing whatever you choose to sample the delights of Turkish life and culture.

You will need a visa for Turkey. The cost of this is $20 and it can easily be purchased online before you travel https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/
